  1. Learning the fundamentals of acrylic painting

  2. Learning layering technique which equates to letting go of the fear of making mistakes

  3. Fostering understanding with self and others

  5. Appreciating each other’s work and quirks

  6. Slowing down and unwind

  7. Embracing the value of the process.

Expected Outcomes

  • Art comes in different styles – there is no one “correct” way. We’ll go back to basics and learn how to truly observe, to see the things you only can only see when you slow down. Coincidentally, the things that matter to create art - colours, lighting, form, depth... and so on.

  • Art jamming encourages a non-judgmental approach to little things in life, teaching us to see past superficial standards of beauty and find raw allure in everything.

  • Participants will learn basic observational drawing & painting with acrylic paints. They will also pick up technical fundamentals of colour, lighting as well as painting techniques.
